Temple of Enora — Help & Policies

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about commissioning custom work, materials, timelines, and caring for your pieces. If your question isn’t listed, send a message with "Custom" in the subject and it will be prioritized.

How do I begin a custom piece?

Fill out the custom request form or email a short note with inspiration images, preferred metals (sterling silver or 14k gold), and an approximate budget. After reviewing your request, a 20–30 minute consultation will be scheduled (via text, call, or email) to refine concept, scale, and timeline.

What is your deposit policy?

A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required after design approval to secure your place in the schedule and to cover initial material sourcing. The remaining balance is due upon completion prior to shipping or pickup.

How long does a custom piece take?

Turnaround typically ranges from 4–8 weeks depending on complexity, metal procurement, and current studio availability. More intricate designs or pieces requiring special-order gemstones may take longer. Rush requests can sometimes be accommodated for an additional fee.

What metals do you work with?

Temple of Enora works in sterling silver (92.5% silver alloy) and solid 14k or 18k gold. Gold is used in its solid form—no gold-filled, plated, or vermeil options are offered for custom work.

Do you accept client‑provided stones or materials?

No — I do not accept client‑provided stones or metals for custom pieces. All materials are sourced personally to ensure consistency of color, cut, and structural integrity throughout the design.

What if the piece needs to be resized?

Minor resizing is generally accommodated at no additional labor charge when the design permits. Substantial or structural changes may require additional work and fees. Please contact with measurements and photos to confirm.

Can I change my design during the crafting phase?

Design revisions should ideally happen before the bench work begins. Once fabrication is underway, changes may be limited or may incur additional fees, depending on progress and material commitments.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Remove jewelry for heavy activity, swimming, and when using household chemicals. Clean gently using mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush; dry thoroughly. For gold and gemstones, periodic professional cleaning and inspection is recommended to maintain settings and polish.

Why does gold cost more?

Gold is a precious, finite material with a market price that fluctuates daily. Price for gold pieces reflects metal weight, market value of gold at the time of sourcing, design complexity, and labor.

Are custom pieces returnable?

Custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale. If there is a defect in craftsmanship, Temple of Enora will repair or correct the issue within an 8 week time frame at no additional labor cost.

Can I cancel my custom order?

Cancellations after design approval or after materials have been purchased are generally not accepted. Deposits are non-refundable; please reach out as early as possible if circumstances change.

Do you offer repairs or maintenance?

Yes. Repair and maintenance services are offered exclusively for original Temple of Enora creations. Limiting service to pieces crafted in my studio allows me to guarantee the care and maintain the integrity of each design.

Common services include resizing, polishing, prong tightening, and stone resetting. Charges vary by job and are subject to studio schedule. Please send photos and a brief description for an estimate.

Why not outside jewelry? Each jeweler uses different techniques, alloys, and setting methods. Working only on pieces I have made ensures safe, predictable repairs and avoids unintended damage from unknown previous work.
